A poor elderly woman who spoke on behalf of others stated how the labour Party Governorship candidate in Enugu state and his boys destroyed their farmland and subjected them to untold hardship after taking over their farm lands.
The poor woman who was visibly emotional but bold to name those Chijioke Edeoga recruited to unleash mayhem on the poor widows whose husbands where mostly killed in the Fulani – Ehamufu crises which Edeoga is being singled as the root cause of that killings that have been going on in the area almost every year. We learnt that some years back, Chijioke Edeoga, the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Enugu state sold some pieces of land to Fulani people against the warnings from his Kinsmen and family friends. According to one of the Kinsmen, the Fulani people slowly begin to expand the land and later want to take over the who farm lands in the farm settlement.
