Legendary Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, has named Chelsea legend, Petr Cech, as one of the best keepers he has ever played against.
Buffon, who currently plays for Serie B side Parma, said Cech was really strong during his playing days as a professional footballer.
When asked whether he himself was the best goalkeeper ever, Buffon, who has played for both Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain in the past, said (via Chelsea News): “I don’t like these things.
“I know sport and football very well, I think I have faced many strong goalkeepers, many didn’t have the same luck I had, so they can’t be judged similarly.
“Petr Cech was really strong, one of the best ever.”
