President Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has travelled out of the Country for Lesser Hajj preparatory to the Ramadan Fasting.
The President Elect according to Statement from his media office signed by his spokesman, Tunde Rahman, will fist take in a few days rest in London and Pars before going to Saudi Arabia for lesser Hajj and the Ramadan fasting.
He will also use the opportunity to rest after an exhaustive campaign and Election while also planning his transition programme preparatory to hi inauguration as President and Commander in Chief o the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The President-elect left the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja for Europe on Tuesday night.
The President-elect decided to take a break after the hectic campaign and election season to rest in Paris and London, preparatory to going to Saudi Arabia for Umrah (Lesser Hajj) and the Ramadan Fasting that begins Thursday.
While away, the President-elect will also use the opportunity to plan his transition programme.
He is expected back in the country soon.
