Croatian footballer, Ana Maria Markovic has weighed in on the never-ending GOAT debate between Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
Markovic, who currently plays for Swiss Women’s Super League club, Grasshopper, picked Ronaldo over Messi.

Replying to a question posed by a fan on X (formerly Twitter), the 23-year-old forward wrote: “Cristiano for me is the best. I respect everyone’s opinion.”
“But mine is right,” she added along with a winking emoji.
Both Messi and Ronaldo are arguably the best two footballers of all time.
The pair have won twelve Ballon d’Or awards between themselves in the past.
Messi currently plays for Inter Miami in the USA, while Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
