But a storm in the surrounding areas of Luton Airport saw Arsenal’s chartered flight delayed.

The UK Mirror reports that Arsenal will not face a fine, as the incident was out of their control.

Their flight eventually took off in the evening and Arteta was ultimately forced to conduct his media duties over the phone.

Arsenal won their first game against PSV 4-0 at the Emirates.
