Sen Adokwe hails tribunal ruling, tells Sule to accept Ombugadu as Nasarawa Governor

Former Senator representing Nasarawa South Senatorial District, Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe, has hailed the recent judgement delivered by the Justice Ezekiel Ajayi-led tribunal.

Recall that the tribunal on Monday ruled that Hon. David Ombugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), not Alhaji Audu Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was the victor of the March 18th governorship election in Nasarawa State.

Adokwe, a three-term Senator, extended his congratulatory message to Ombugadu, popularly known as ‘Mai Wanka’, for his triumph at the tribunal.

The Senator asserted that the tribunal’s judgement authentically reiterates the mandate bestowed upon the PDP and Ombugadu by the conscientious citizens of the state, insisting that it is the anticipated justice being rightfully served.

He congratulated the entire populace of Nasarawa, especially the passionate supporters of the PDP, for their unwavering determination, resilience, and tireless efforts exhibited throughout the relentless pursuit to reclaim the stolen mandate.

He called on political opponents to graciously accept the tribunal’s verdict and unite with Ombugadu to steer Nasarawa towards progress and development.
