Peseiro hands Ebuehi, Sadiq late invitation for Super Eagles friendlies

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has called up Tyrone Ebuehi and Umar Sadiq for his side’s international friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.

The duo will replace injured duo Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi for the games.

Aina, who is nursing a muscle injury, has missed Nottingham Forest’s last two Premier League games.

His Nottingham Forest teammate, Awoniyi sustained a groin injury in training last week.

Umar is making a return to the Super Eagles after making the squad to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Ebuehi was part of the Super Eagles’ squad for their last game against Sao Tome and Principe.

The Super Eagles will take on Saudi Arabia in Portimao, Portugal on Friday.

The friendly against Mozambique will take place in Portimao three days later.
