Jose Mourinho is eyeing the Brazil national team managerial role as he thinks Carlo Ancelotti is the perfect man to manage Real Madrid.

Despite Ancelotti being linked with the Brazil national team manager’s role next year when his contract with Real Madrid expires, AS Roma boss Mourinho has reportedly expressed his desire to manage the Selecao once his contract with the Italian club ends at the end of the ongoing season, according to UOL.

The 60-year-old manager thinks that the doors of top European clubs have shut for him and it is time that he takes up a national team role in the future.

The Roma manager did have lucrative offers from the Saudi Pro League during the summer but he rejected them in order to honour his contract with Giallorossi.

As for the Spanish giants, Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso is being tipped to succeed Ancelotti if and when he leaves the club.

For now, the legendary manager is focused on his own club who are set to face Servette in the Europa League on Thursday.
