Victor Osimhen has been named Italian Footballers’ Association (AIC) Footballer of the Year.
Osimhen won the award following a marvelous season with Napoli. The 24-year-old played a pivotal role in the Partenopei’s title success, their first in 33 years. The Nigeria international scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances for Napoli.
Despite a tough start to the 2023-24 campaign and recent struggles with injury, Osimhen has continued his impressive goals-per-game ratio, with six from 10 after the 14th gameweek.
